CIM 1.12a released May 1, 2017 (New Release)
In the Windows release of photoApps 1.12, the cim documentation was obsolete. The documentation is now current, and this is the only change in photoApps-Win-1.12a.exe.
Changes:
Care has been taken to ensure that execution of photoApps programs on Windows succeeds without the MinGW development environment being present
CIM 1.10 released Jan 5, 2015 (New Release)
Several bugs in saving Exif data are corrected. The auto-sharpen feature now uses either of two convolution matrices depending on the image size. Also, non-fatal warning messages are provided following image load and save.
CIM 1.09a released Nov 7, 2013 (New Release)
Fixing a cim crash while parsing the quot;component configurationquot; EXIF entry introduced a bug affecting some other images. This has been corrected in photoApps-1.09a, and photoApps-1.09 has been withdrawn.

If a disk error occurs on an image while the cim Browse window is being
populated, an quot;errorquot; thumbnail will be displayed for the image.
manageImages:
A small adjustment is made to the screen height calculation so that
the manageImages main window is contained properly in the available
screen area.
Deleting empty image archive folders now seems to work properly.

· Optional references grids for rotating and distortion removal are now yellow and of finer mesh. Exif tags for post-processing software, height, width and document name are now processed.

· Documentation is no longer provided in word processing format. Instead, it is
· provided in html format and is available from the help menu item (help button for manageImages).

Two cases are supported:
· vertical lines converge toward the top of the image;
· vertical lines converge toward the bottom of the image.
CIM 1.06 released Jun 4, 2013 (New Release)
· A Remove Lens Distortion feature is implemented to remove barrel and pincushion distortion from images.
· A Remove Keystone Distortion feature is implemented to restore converging vertical lines to parallel lines.

Two cases are supported:
· vertical lines converge toward the top of the image;
· vertical lines converge toward the bottom of the image.

manageImages:
· In the View window, buttons rotate-left, rotate-right, print, information
· and edit are disabled when a slideshow is running.
CIM 1.04 released May 14, 2013 (New Release)
· Bugs are fixed in the Image/Rotate feature that had hidden the Cancel and OK buttons when rotating left 90 degrees or right 90 degrees.
· Also, the rotate preview image aspect ratio is now preserved correctly. Lastly, a reference grid is available.

· The Image/Rotate dialog box is revised to improve ease-of-use.
· The design and implementation is improved for the additional means of designating a destination folder for a copy or move operation. Image selection is retained through image folder expansion.

· A bug is fixed that caused failure to update image metadata from the Manage Images/View window.

· Left, middle and right panel headings are modified in an attempt to make clearer the use of the image folder names in the left and right panels. Tooltips are added also added to the left, center and right panels for added clarity. The functions and operations of all three panels remain unchanged.

· An additional means of designating a destination folder for a copy or move operation is provided. After selecting images to be copied or moved, the user may right-click on a folder in the left panel. A popup menu will be shown allowing the user to choose to copy or to move to the right -clicked folder.

· An image may now be opened from the Browse window by double-clicking on its thumbnail.
· An image may now be edited by double-clicking on its thumbnail, as an alternative to left-clicking on it and then clicking the Edit button.
