PatchTool is designed to visualize, manipulate, re-order, average, compare (with statistics), convert, and export color lists in a color-managed environment. You can export a list as an image, in plain text format, or in a CGATS compatible file format; you can also export lists as color catalogues to be used within the BabelColor CT&A program.

With its Gamut Tools you can convert colors using one or two ICC profiles, check if a color list will be clipped by a profile conversion, determine the gamut volume of a profile, and generate fixed pitch color lists.

Join files tool:
Join two or more opened files to create a new file.
Joins files of the same color reference type: (spectral/xyY/XYZ/L*a*b*/L*C*h*), RGB, CMYK.
Select if you also join the ID and Name data fields of each file.
When joining files of the tristimulus/spectral type, you can also join their RGB and CMYK data if it was also present in each file when it was opened.

Added a set of functions to edit the patch list: Select/Deselect a Row, Column, or All. Invert selection. Swap two patches. Move selected patches before or after a patch, to the first column, or to the last column. Flip the patches of a row or column. Replace selected patches by: White, 50% Gray, Black, OSA-UCS background. Copy selected patches to the last column. Add White patches to fill the last column. Extract selected patches to a new file. Delete selected patches.
